Visit Las Cruces promotes Las Cruces, New Mexico as a year-round premier Southern New Mexico destination for travelers, businesses, organizations, groups and families looking to relocate to the region. They are a program of the City of Las Cruces and function as the tourism ambassador of the city by promoting fine dining, outdoor recreation, arts & culture, the space industry and other attractions.
the challenge
NMCO Studio was tasked with creating an engaging brand identity that visually represented the mission and vision of Visit Las Cruces. We needed to film a wide variety of content from live events to documentaries and develop a visual language that would become consistent across the client’s entire body of work.
the solution
By collaborating with the creative director and other department heads, I conceptualized and developed commercial and social media campaigns for the client that optimized outreach and increased viewership. I leveraged a strong eye for visual composition and in-depth technical abilities to create innovative sequences that aligned with brand goals and objectives, producing deliverables that achieved the client’s goals while adhering to the brand guidelines.

By fostering relationship built off collaboration and communication with our client, NMCO Studio worked with Visit Las Cruces to produce projects that improved the region’s reputation as a tourist destination, and the client’s reputation as a tourist ambassador. The client saw increased engagement online and in live events they promoted, such as the Mira! Arts Festival, and received recognition across the state for the work we produced for them.
